WELCOME!  LET US TELL YOU ABOUT OUR DREAM!

As parents of a teenage autistic son, Corbin, our growing concern has been what his future as an adult will hold.  Like thousands of other autistic boys and girls his age, Corbin will not be able to support himself or reach the point of needing no assistance with his everyday life.  

The question of "what will happen to our son when we are gone?" is one that can be frightening to ask oneself in this situation, but it does need to be answered nonetheless.  Waiting and hoping that there "will be help" or someday we'll find "a place" wasn't enough for us.  We decided to  take action.  And so, this project was born.

It's a huge project, to be sure, but with the power of determination behind us, we are sure to see this become a reality.  

In honor of April, Autism Awareness Month, we will be launching our first newsletter, and getting the ball rolling forward toward what we envision as a movement that doesn't ever stop, doesn't ever get discouraged - until this goal is met!

THANK YOU FOR  YOUR INTEREST AND SUPPORT and we must ask you for your patience while this site is being built!   This labor of love has seen its share of mishaps!  Most recently, there was a glitch in the system and while correcting it the Yahoo representative had a problem and we lost EVERYTHING in the process!  Good grief! 

But, not to worry....I'm moving at full speed now and thankfully the site building program has been updated and improved so it's much easier to navigate.  So, please check back often.....there will be lots of information added every week! 

Also, I plan to launch a newsletter in April, 2009!

Reaching Tall will be reaching out as well!
